Alright guys, I know you’ve been waiting, but as most people that know me in real life know, I’m a last minute person. Luckily here this is – a whole FOUR days before the actual festival performances begin. I deserve an award, thx. Basically, I used the handy NXNE Schedulizer to find all the bands I know and love, or have heard about and am curious to see, and added them to my schedule – which I have so thoughtfully posted for you here.

I’ve already written about the awesome NXNE Record Show happening on Saturday, as well as a general post about the bigger bands playing when the lineup was first announced, but I didn’t get the chance to mention that there will be free yoga classes for artists, volunteers and pass-holders, which I think is kind of fun. There’s nothing cuter than watching indie rock boys try to learn yoga.

Anyhow, here’s what I recommend – obviously there’s a lot of bands here and a ton of overlap, which is necessary because as you probably know, back up plans are needed when your favorite venue reaches capacity and you can’t get in. The main sets I will be trying to catch are in bold, and I’ve also included the Special Guest venue/time slots as those tend to have amazing acts (guarantee Dan Mangan will be one of them). Will update the post as the guests are announced (usually the night before or day of).

And remember – all the Yonge Dundas shows are free so if you’re too broke for a pass, you can still check out all the big bands playing the fest. Ben & Jerry’s wanted me to let you know they will have a truck around there for the duration of the YDS performances, giving out free ice cream, just an FYI.
